So I chose my wedding pictures for obvious reasons. I married Matthew because he is an amazing person, but also because he makes me a more amazing person! He brings out the best in me. He believes in me whole heartedly. He is everything I thought my husband would be. He is caring and thoughtful. He is patient and smart. He is honestly the whole package. I am lucky to have him and grateful to be his wife

On Valentine's Day loathing...
- So for all of you V-day haters out there, can you tell me if you hate this holiday because it is an excuse for Hallmark to sell more or because it seems like an elaborate scheme to sell chocolate and jewelry or because you don't have anything special going on? Fill me in here! I happen to not only like, but appreciate Valentine's Day to the FULLEST. I am willing to admit I cannot remember a Valentine's Day that totally sucked, so maybe I just have good luck, but come on... Seriously where is all this hatred for a holiday based on not just being in love, but spreading love coming from?!

30 DAYS OF ENLIGHTENMENT: Day 9- A picture of someone who has gotten you through the most.
I chose a couple pictures of Maddi and I for today. Maddi is my all time best friend! I completely agree that you can have more than one best friend, but Maddi is like the captain of that team. She levels up to my sisters. She gives me that kind of support. In one of these pictures we were in high school (which is when I met Mads) and I was pregnant. Maddi was the only friend who made it through that with me. I absolutely LOVE this girl, and she has gotten me through so much!

30 DAYS OF ENLIGHTENMENT: Day 8- a picture that makes you laugh.
HA HA HA! Yes I had to start this one out with a laugh! When I read todays picture I was SO excited because I immediately knew I was choosing these ones. The only explanation they need are My girlfriends + New Years = Amazing times & hysterical pictures. This was New Year’s eve of 2009. It was a really great night. There was no drama, I was with some really great friends, and it was Matt and I’s first new years together. I think I will always remember this one :)

30 DAYS OF ENLIGHTENMENT: Day 7- A picture that shows your true self.
So I COULD NOT choose just one picture for this one, but looking through my photos I noticed the ones I was picking were with my friends and my family. I think it is easiest for me to be my “true self” with them because I love them dearly and I know they love me! So these are the pictures I chose, some of them are pretty obnoxious, but I would say that’s the true me. I am willing to admit I like to be the center of attention. I’m outgoing and energetic, and sometimes, a little crazy! But I like to think I’m usually a lot of fun! :)
